2019 Riserva

Doccio a Matteo wine is produced with Sangiovese grapes with a touch of Colorino mainly harvested in the vineyard having the same name.

Wine from Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand in the Caparsa vineyards. The colour is compact, purplish red. On the nose there is cherry, violet and perhaps eucalyptus and laurel; the sip is continuous and sinuous, the tannin expertly extracted; the whole conveys an unashamed sensuality. A wine to be paired with foods such as stews, Florentine steak, cheeses and cured meats. Long-lived. Caparsa offers its admirers a fine spontaneous wine from a mild vintage.
