Candied fruit, acacia honey, mulberry berries, citrus, iodine: it's a fresh and lashing Vin Santo, characterful and beautiful, with a morose alcohol content

Made from grapes dried on mats of Trebbiano, Malvasia Bianca and a touch of Canaiolo. This over 20-year-old wine is the ultimate expression of Chianti peasants, who consumed it only on special occasions or when guests arrived. It is traditionally served with dry pastries, such as Cantuccini di Prato, but served in elegant glasses it can be consumed as a meditation wine. because of the oxidative characteristics typical of Vin Santo, its shelf life is almost unlimited. The label features a drawing by Mino Maccari depicting a happy dance, like the time of tasting this wine.
